Book Traveling Thursdays | Book Boyfriend

Book Traveling Thursdays is a weekly meme hosted by Danielle at Danielle’s Book Blog and Catia at The Girl Who Read Too Much, the rules are

1) Pick a book! At the beginning of every month a list of themes will be posted. All you have to do is choose a book that fits the theme.
2) In your blog post, the first thing you will want to include is an explanation of why your chosen book fits the theme.
2) Look at covers from multiple editions and multiple countries for the book you chose.
3) Finally, include pictures of the original cover, the cover from your country (if their are multiple covers from your country include all of them!), your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.
4) Be sure to tag your posts with booktravelingthursdays so we can all see each other’s posts!

This week’s theme is “Book Boyfriends.” I chose Ben from November 9 by Colleen Hoover (*swoon*).  Ben is sweet, caring, and kind and is always trying to make his girl feel her best!

Now for the covers…

The cover from my country (US) is…

25111004

And the cover from the UK is…

26142946

My favorite cover is…

Now this is an interesting case, in my opinion. Why? Because as pretty as the UK cover is, it has nothing to do with the storyline of November 9. In contrast, the US edition features the stack of papers, symbolizing the fact that Ben’s a writer, and the city, symbolizing the distance between Ben and Fallon. So, as pretty as the UK cover is, I’m gonna have to say my favorite cover is the US edition, because it actually tells you something about the book!
