Spreading The Holiday Cheer! How To Celebrate Valentine’s Day Like A True Reader!
So it’s that time of year again…Valentine’s Day!
Maybe you’re all for it!

…Or…Maybe not…

Maybe you’ve got a special someone…

Or…Maybe you don’t…

Or maybe you’ve got a great night with some friends planned…

Or maybe you’re one of those errant bitter historian wannabes running around getting joy from ruining other people’s day…

But however the day is going for you, you can always celebrate in true bookworm fashion, with the one true love of your life, books.
So what are some good ones for this holiday?
First things first, definitely grab a Colleen Hoover book for all the feels!
Colleen in the queen of new adult romance and her books are definitely a Valentine’s Day staple! But these aren’t light, fluffy books! Be prepared for lots of twists and turns!
Next, check out Stephanie Perkins’s Anna-Lola-Isla companion trilogy!
Stephanie’s books are cute and happy, and also involve traveling the world!
Maybe try out a book in the Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh MAfi
These books will give you a dystopian twist on your romance.
Looking for some serious fantasy with a side of steamy romance? Check out the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas!
While mostly fantasy, these books always have a good romantic side plot going on.
Looking for a classic? Love Austen? Already read Pride and Prejudice? Try out Sense and Sensibility!

Need a cute, fluffy read to get you through the day that also includes great relationships other than the romance? Pick up To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han!
This book has a great family dynamic!
So go! Get to it!

I think I read a Colleen Hoover book too at some point, and liked it.
This is a nice post 🙂
To answer your question about romance books I liked, let me see . . . I just finished Life and Other Near-Death Experiences by Camille Pagan. It’s not technically romance but it has a nice relationship in it. Then there was The Fault in Our Stars, the YA phenomenon . . . but one of the romance books that stayed with me was Falling for Zoe by Skye Taylor. I see now that it was Volume 1 of a series. I’ll have to check out the series . . . 🙂
I don’t usually read romance, but I was planning on reading the Shatter Me series this year.
I’m here mostly for the hilarious GIFS!
haha, yeah, this post was basically an excuse for me to go all out on the gifs lol!
This was a great blogpost idea!
thank you!
