The town lies on a magical ley line, giving it great power! Want to see? Try visiting Cabeswater, the magical forest! Or swing by the local psychics at 300 Fox Way! You never know what you’ll find in this mysterious town!

Bath County, Virginia is named for the English resort city of Bath. Both communities are known for the abundance of healing springs that have attracted visitors to their locales. For over 270 years Bath County has been defined by its natural beauty and hospitality. Virginia Tourism Corporation, http://www.Virginia.org

The Buchanan Swinging Bridge is 366 feet long, 57.5 feet tall, the only one of its type to cross the James River. Portions of the large stone piers were constructed in 1851 for the Buchanan Turnpike Company’s Toll Bridge (fice cents per person and additional five cents for each horse, mule, oxen or wagon). This version of the bridge was built in 1937. Virginia Tourism Corporation, http://www.Virginia.org
