Sunday Post | May 1, 2016

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

Currently Reading I’ve waited three agonizing weeks to get Map of Fates from the library! So I finally got it and am now reading both…

  • Map of Fates by Maggie Hall
  • The Way Back to You by Michelle Andreani and Mindi Scott

Books Borrowed And Bought It was a pretty chill week for library hauling BUT! Just yesterday, it finally was my turn in line for some books I really wanted! I also bought one of my most anticipated debuts of 2016!

  • Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway
  • Branded by Abi Ketner and Missy Kalicicki
  • Map of Fates by Maggie Hall
  • Wait for You by J.Lynn

  • The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

Received For Review It was an exciting week because I actually got some audiobooks to review! I’m also looking forward to the one e-ARC I received…

  • Girl in the Shadows by Gwenda Bond (e-ARC)
  • I Woke Up Dead at the Mall by Judy Sheehan (Audiobook)
  • On The Fence by Kasie West (Audiobook)

I know I say this all the time, but this week really was a chill week. Not much happened in my personal life or blogging wise. Personally, I felt like I had a kind of introspective, philosophical week. I spent a lot of time questioning myself and my depression and anxiety and the reasons behind my emotions. I think I did this because I decided I want to try my hand at journaling and that just brought up a lot of dormant (and not so dormant) emotions.

Blogging wise, nothing has really happened. I’m preparing for a big week this week and that’s caused me a lot of anxiety, but I’m hoping that in the end it’ll be worth it (and plus I know you guys will love it). But that’s really all there is. Not much goin’ on, just boring old life. Ya know how it goes…

Anyhow, how has your life been? Any exciting news or plans? Tell me all about it in the comments!
