Top 5 Wednesday | Summer Lovin’

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey and hosted by Sam from Thoughts On Tomes (both on YouTube). This week’s theme is the very broad theme of “summer reads,” so I figured I’d give you a preview of my upcoming summer TBR post! As you can see from my list, I am a silly birdie who procrastinates on everything, including reading the books she loves! Many All of these books are actually on my “Most Anticipated Books of 2016” list. So…Yeah…Ooops??? Let’s just get it over with–here are the top 5 books on my summer TBR!

The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

I am sooooooo ready to read this book. But I have to wait til I finish all of my library books to geet to it 😛 But after finishing all of them, I swear this is my first priority!

The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye

Another one of my most anticipated releases. I’ve been hearing mixed things about this one though. Idk. It looks good to me, like a mash up of Shadow and Bone and The Night Circus!

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

I got this book as soon as it came out…aaaaaaand promptly set it aside so I could get to my library books. CURSE YOU, LIBRARY BOOKS!!!! *shakes fist*

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

I haven’t gotten my copy of this yet, but once I do, you can bet I’ll be flying through it!

The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski

This one I have zero excuses for why I haven’t read it yet. I guess I was just waiting for the perfect moment and, of course, as we all know, that will never come. So I might as well just hop to it already!

  1. The Raven King was perfect, in my opinion! I’m currently reading The Star-Touched Queen and the writing is beautiful. I’m also hoping to get to The Crown’s Game and A Court of Mist and Fury soon!
