Hello, hello, hello, everyone! It’s Monday and that means I’m back at it again with another Monday Musts post! The Monday Musts is a weekly meme hosted by Jessica at Lovin’ Los Libros in which we talk about our must reads, must listens, and must sees of the week!
Must Read
Alas! I have not read anything new, so I’ll be picking another must read book off of my TBR! This week, it’s The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi. Those of you who have been around my blog know that this has been one of my most highly anticipated reads of 2016. AND I STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN TO IT!!! Stupid library books! Argh! *shakes fist*
Ahem. Anyhoo.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book. Everyone is talking about how beautiful the writing is and how good the story is. If I have to wait much longer to read it, I’m going to spontaneously combust from pent up anticipation!

This week’s must listen is “Mustang Kids” by Zella Day. This song is so fun! It has such a bouncy, twangy, western-style beat and tune. I love Zella’s whiskey voice, it’s so beautiful, whether she’s singing folk or pop. If you can, definitely listen to more of her songs, she’s an incredibly versatile artist!

This week’s must see is the new trailer for ABC’s upcoming series Still Star-Crossed. Call me a hopeless romantic, but this show looks really promising! I can’t resist a good love story and if it’s coming from the people behind Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder then it’s bound to be amazing! Plus it’s so diverse, which I love! This show just looks like it’s gonna be the bomb dot com and, who knows, maybe it’ll even get me through half a year of withdrawal from The 100.
Hope you enjoy The Star-touched Queen. I have seen so many mixed reviews. I’m nervous to read it now 😓
