The Book Theme Meme | Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry
Hello and welcome back to The Book Theme Meme, a weekly meme that pairs books and music and hosted by me, Lila. Let me explain the rules of the game. If you want o participate, here’s what to do:

This week I chose to feature my most recent read, Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry and have paired it with the song “Your Touch” by The Black Keys. There are actually a lot of things about this song that remind me of Nowhere But Here. The song has a tough, gritty, biker-ish feel to it. The roaring guitar reminds me of the roaring of a motorcyle. The lyrics also remind me of the instant physical attraction Oz and Emily have to each other.
I really love this meme, but to be honest, I would SUCK at finding songs that are fitting for a book, ahah. I think I will add that book to my TBR, because it sounds so good! 🙂
