Sunday Post | May 8, 2016

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

Currently Reading I finished Tell The Wind And Fire and have moved on to…

  • Map of Fates by Maggie Hall
  • Gotham Academy Vol. 1: Welcome to Gotham Academy by Becky Cloonan, Brendan Fletcher, and Karl Kerschl

Books Borrowed And Bought It was an absolutely glorious week for library borrows! At the same time, I wish all of my auto checkouts hadn’t occurred all at once because now I have to either listen to my audiobooks faster or listen to more than one at a time in order to finish them all in the allotted time. And I’m not too fond of either of those choices…

  • The Siren by Kiera Cass
  • Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lannigan, and Deborah Biancotti
  • The Forbidden Orchid by Sharon Biggs Waller
  • The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Tell The Wind And Fire by Sarah Rees Brennan
  • Rat Queens Vol. 1: Sass and Sorcery by Kurtis J. Wiebe and Roc Upchurch
  • Saga Vol. 2 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples
  • Gotham Academy Vol. 1: Welcome to Gotham Academy by Becky Cloonan, Brendan Fletcher, and Karl Kerschl

  • Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas (hardcover)

-Received For Review It was an chill week on the “received for review” front.

  • N/A

Welp. Another week passes me by, uneventful. At least in my personal life. Blogging life is a whole other story, though.

This past week on the blog marked the beginning of an incredibly busy blogging month! The week started off great with a guest post by and interview with J.A. George, the lovely author of Gifted. And the roller coaster ride zoomed off from there! The work week ended with my posts for the The Way Back to You by Michelle Andreani and Mindi Scott blog tour and the Girl About Town by Adam Shankman and Laura L. Sullivan blog tour. So you can see it was hectic! But it was all fun in the end.

I had a ton of fun over at Book Conversion this past week as well. Claire and I sorted the characters of M:aggie Stiefvater’s The Raven Cycle into Hogwarts houses and got into a debate over most characters. It got a little heated! It was so much fun, though.

This coming week should be pretty chill as well, except for the fact that I have another blog tour post due Sunday. But otherwise I can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

So how about y’all? Anything happen to make you over-the-moon happy? What splendid plans do you have for this week! Tell me everything in the comments!

Over And Out!

Lila is a 27-year-old college student studying physics and a lover of literature. When she's not busy reading or saving the world through science, Lila can be found singing jazz and blues and obsessing over hedgehogs (a.k.a. the cutest animals in the multiverse!)
