WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words in which we answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you just finish reading?
  • What are you planning on reading next?

Tell me your three W’s in the comments! Here are mine…

I’m super hyped to be getting to The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh! I’ve been waiting a year for this moment! At the same time, though, it’s bittersweet because I don’t want the series to end. I’ve also begun a little bit of The Siren by Kiera Cass, but I’m not sure if I want to continue that at the moment or read something else. I’m still working my way through Gotham Academy Vol 1: Welcome to Gotham Academy by Becky Cloonan, Brendan Fletcher, and Karl Kerschl. I’m really enjoying it, but for some reason it’s slow going. I also began Consider by Kristy Acevedo and ohmygodguys! You have no idea how excited I am to read it! I’m really, really, really excited for Consider! Why? First off, at 4.71/5 stars, it has the highest Goodreads rating I’ve ever seen! Second off, it’s a non contemporary YA (it’s sci fi) featuring a protagonist suffering from a mental illness (anxiety disorder)! Just what I’ve been wishing for in a book! I’m so excited (did I mention that already? oops!)!!!

I just finished Map of Fates by Maggie Hall. I’m really sad to say that this one was a bit of a disappointment for me. I really loved The Conspiracy of Us but Map of Fates just wasn’t as compelling. It felt like a shadow of what The Conspiracy of Us was. Oh,well, I guess. You win some, you lose some.

Again I have no clue! Maybe The Siren by Kiera Cass or Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lannigan, and Deborah Biancotti, both of which are what I should be reading next according to my TBR. Or who knows? I might fling my TBR asside and read The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi or The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater or Dreamers Often Lie by Jacqueline West! As I said, who knows–fate is a wild thing!

  1. I really need to start The Wrath & The Dawn! Sorry Gotham Academy is dragging for you at the moment. I found it a really quick read, but that might just be because for some reason I can read comics and graphic novels ridiculously fast 😂

I totally vote that you should read The Raven King, haha. I loved it soo much!!
